You create linked teleportation portals that remain open for the duration. Choose two points on the ground that you can see, one point within 10 feet of you and one point within 500 feet of you. A circular portal, 10 feet in diameter, opens over each point. If the portal would open in the space occupied by a creature, the spell fails.

How have you used visual structure in your card design?

I used visual structure in this design by using different sizes of type. For example, "Arcane Gate", the title of the spell (and the most important part of the card) is the largest text.

Explain how you have used color on your card in the context of the guidelines at the end of chapter 4.

I used the color guideline of contrast on my card. As the card is mainly a monochrome sepia, it is important to differentiate certain elements with high contrast colors (light brown and dark brown).

Because contrast was so important in this design, I used it to both set the heirarchy and to differentiate between the background and foreground. The background is lighter than all the elements in the foreground. Also, there is a larger surface area of dark color (due to larger type sizes) to showcase the heirarchy of the card as well.
